I began my career in corporate finance but I knew early on that it was not the end of my road. The ongoing cycle of deadlines, repetitive tasks, and the rigid work environment wasn’t conducive to who I was and couldn’t provide the fulfillment I was so desperately looking for.
So, how’d I end up here? So glad you asked!

I’d had enough of my corporate life and decided to pursue my passion for events curated at the age of fifteen. I began freelancing in the corporate and entertainment sectors to fuel my passion before attending New York University for their Meeting and Event Planning Diploma Program. It was there I began to piece together what is now A Jay Event Productions Inc.
Along the way I realized (and personally experienced) how a lack of engagement and morale could negatively affect both the employee and organization. I believe that work and fun shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We are human before we are employees and our humanity deserves to be prioritized. Building an effective team is paramount to any business’s success but it is only possible when employees are in an environment they like and with people they enjoy. It’s time we start fostering an atmosphere where happy people thrive. And what better way to get the ball rolling? An awesome location and exciting adventures are great places to start!
